AdinkraStamps

Why do I look like this?

Form

I was cut from the bottom of a dried calabash gourd and then carved into an Adinkra symbol. Three sticks were added to the back to make a handle.  The thick bottom on a dried cultivated calabash is ideal for carving the stamp. The slight curve of the resulting stamp makes it easier to quickly make a clear, uniform image using a slight rolling motion.
